Sports and Recreation Camps

Flag Star Flag Football Camp:

Do you love football?  Would you like to learn how to play from a professional football player?  Or, do you just want to have fun and get some exercise?  Then this camp is for you!  Every day, we’re learning and playing and talking and team-building.  And HAVING FUN – BECAUSE IT’S THE SUMMER AND IT’S FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP.

Here’s what an average day looks like for us:

9:00 – 9:45: Passing Drills. Right out of the gate, we’re getting our work in!  Campers start each day by throwing/catching a ridiculous number of passes. And working on a specific skill.

9:45 – 10:00: Team Huddle. Campers huddle/hydrate while our coaches tell/give the story/value of the day.  In as human and relevant and entertaining a way as possible… we’re talking values!

10:00 – 10:45: Practice/Drill Sessions/Camp Competitions

10:45 – 11:15: Water and Team Practice

11:15 – 12:15: Game #1

12:15: Lunch and CHILL

12:50: Dodgeball/Sharks and Minnows/Ultimate Football

1:30: Team Time

1:45 – 2:40: Game #2

2:40 – 3:00: Final Huddle/Break Down/Team Competition

At Rutgers, he had the distinction of starting every position on the offensive line as well as tight end. He was also Academic all American his sophomore through senior year. After graduating from Rutgers, he went on to use his redshirt senior year to play at the University of Massachusetts and earn his masters degree.

He later was invited to several NFL mini-camps and played for local arena teams the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks and the Philadelphia Soul.

After his playing career, he went on to found Flag Star Football.  He coaches Football and Wrestling at Abington Senior High as well.
