BRICK City Engineers / Bat League: Heroes & Villains

Join us for this BRAND NEW camp for 5 – 7 year olds!  We will focus on TWO super-fun subjects!  In the morning, we will focus on engineering.

Let’s build a CITY! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together? Campers will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build city themed models using LEGO® Bricks. The sky’s the limit when campers are challenged to use their own ideas and skills to build a skyscraper taller than their heads! They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick! What an accomplishment to be able to proudly exclaim “We built this BRICK City!”

Then, each afternoon we will focus on building super-hero themed models!

Enter the dark city where a dangerous jokester and other evil villains wreak havoc. Thankfully there is a bat hero who comes out each night to fight against these evil-doers! The good guys will ride into action as campers build motorized models of the bat hero’s speedy vehicle and bat girl’s sleek Cycle. But keep the bat light searching for the evil jokester’s motorized low rider vehicle cruising through the city streets as well. Send the bat hero swinging on his grappling hook technic model from one skyscraper to the next as he fights crime with his trusty super sidekick. Campers will use their imaginations, building skills and crime-fighting passion in this thrilling camp of bat heroes and villains!

Stop Motion Movie Making Camp / Worlds of Amusement Camp

Do you like LEGO’s?  Do you like movies?  Do you like having fun?  Then this BRAND NEW camp is for you!  Each day, we will explore TWO absolutely fantastic subjects.

In the morning, we will learn how to make a Stop Motion movie!

Light, cameras, LEGO®Ò action!  Use LEGO®Ò bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGO®Ò mini- figure characters!  In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation.  Working as a team, students will use LEGO®Ò components to build the set and props, then shoot their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more.  When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp. Don’t miss your chance to be a movie producer!

Then, in the afternoon, we will turn our attention to the World of Amusement Parks!

“Worlds of Amusement” camp takes you on a thrilling adventure building amusement park themed models. Spend time visiting the Wizard World by building your favorite wizard and his magical owl! Build and give your despicable yellow movie characters a thrilling roller coaster ride! Get your amusement park ticket stamped as you turn games, food, rides and attractions into exciting model builds! All this and more awaits at Bricks 4 Kidz Worlds of Amusement Camp!

Red Hot Robots and Rockin’ Rockets

In this BRAND NEW  STEM Camp, campers will be exposed to TWO exciting subjects!  In the morning, we will focus on robots!  Join us for a week of fun in our Mad Science Robot World! Campers learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time playing with super-cool mad robots that might just have a mind of their own. As kids discover the science of circuitry, logic, and programming, they then use their skills to build their very own working robot to take home to “live” with them!*

In the afternoon, we will turn our attention to rockets!  Kids have a “Rockin” good time at this rocket camp as they learn all about the purpose and function of rockets. How are they built? What is the function of each part? Throughout the week, campers experiment with different kinds of propulsion systems and “launch” their knowledge of flight as they blast-off, track, and recover different kinds of rockets.
